While I was living down in West Wales, I was introduced to a herd of
holistically managed, healthy, 'happy' horses. These wonderful animals
taught me so much about themselves - they opened up my world to a
completely new way of life.
As I understood more about
the endless benefits to the horse of correct foot trimming, it sparked
off what has now become my full time career. I'm humbled every day by
the work these fantastic animals allow me to do and each horse I see
teaches me something new.
After studying with KC La Pierre I received my Diploma in Applied Equine Podiatry in May 2005.
I started working full time as a Equine Podiatrist at the same time and I have never looked back, I enjoy my work, I'm learning everyday, it is a very rewarding career.
I continued my education this year by completing the Instructor Program run by KC La Pierre, I am now also a licensed Instructor and next year I will be doing the Advanced
Level II course.
